From Dhampus, you will start your trek to Tolka. The trekking distance from Dhampus to Tolka is approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles). The trek takes around 4 to 5 hours, depending on your pace and the trail conditions.

The altitude of Dhampus is around 1,650 meters (5,413 feet) above sea level. As you trek from Dhampus to Tolka, the altitude gradually increases. The altitude of Tolka is approximately 1,700 meters (5,577 feet) above sea level.

Great trip with Local Company Sole Encounters

We had made our trip booking six months in advance and were pleased with the prompt and efficient communication from the company. Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, we were pleasantly surprised to find our guide and driver waiting for us, ready to transfer us to our hotel. In the evening, as requested, they patiently waited for the pre-departure meeting.

Although the tour had a predefined plan, our guide was flexible and adjusted the schedule to accommodate my preferences and the location of my hotel. This allowed us to avoid backtracking and getting stuck in Nepalese traffic, optimizing our time and experiences.

Throughout the tour, I never felt rushed while visiting the sites.
